Orchid Clubs

Just a note, for anyone outside of the USA... you can add your clubs as well.

The map defaults to the USA but just scroll accross and it will show those in the rest of the world. None have been entered yet for the rest of the world, but it would be great to have some added.

I don't currently belong to one, or I would have added it.

The club count has stalled at 16 ! Sixteen !!

A request that OB members ask at their next Orchid Society meeting for the OK (if you think you need it) to add YOUR society to the map.

Click the Club *new feature* in the site menu on the left of the screen.

Great idea. Our club is looking for new members, but struggling with how to attract them.

I belong to the Cape Fear Orchid Society, Wilmington, NC. We have teamed up with the local State Agricultural Extension Service and other gardening societies (there are camelia, bonsai, azalea etc groups out there) and participate in local garden shows with a simple 10' x 10' exhibit and plant (orchid) sale. We also participate in extension service 'growers day' with a plant (orchids) sale and 'how - to' demonstrations.
