Hi folks

I thought I'd post a note concerning my thoughts on all the wild and crazy smilies we've been using around here...

Some of them have been great...I've used them myself ...but I think it's become a bit over-the-top.
For all the fun we have here with all of the friends we've made, the smilies, in my opinion, have the potential to backfire on us.

A lot of work has been put into making this the best orchid site EVER and the big flashy smilies bring the quality level down a notch. We want to be known for our generosity in sharing knowledge and our friendliness...not for the outrageous smilies in our posts

Can we go back to using the smilies Marty has provided for us here at OB? ...
