How about a Collection List subforum

Slippertalk has a subforum for posting collection lists, and I think it could be useful here as well. It would give a good reference area to see what people here grow, and could be a good way to get some trades going.

Sounds interesting. Maybe we can have it so no one can make comments. It could even become member's hall or records kinda thing. But how to organize such a thing. Just to have members list what they got is easy enough, but to convert that into a record bank for each member could be a bit more difficult. I lack the expertise to comment though.

I was spinning my wheels and came up with this:

- Edit your profile, enter your list into "My Orchids"

this list then becomes searchable in the Member List

lets see how this will work. I think that having it in the form of a thread will be hard to find, this way as a profile option, you'll be able to check a member's profile and see what they grow.
