Alright I take it back. I can't even go back and edit now. This problem is getting serious. I wonder if it has anything to do with the latest firefox update I got for both of my computers.

I also got the latest firefox update, and there are no problems that I am aware of. Since you say it works on a third PC, maybe you should try removing firefox from your other 2 computers, and download it again from the website and reinstall? I had a bug with firefox when I installed Firefox 3, and reinstalling fixed everything.

Tindo, I use IE7 and have experienced freezes a couple times over last couple weeks, but nothing like you seem to be having. I tried Firefox and hated it. I realize most users love it. But for me it was a cludgy browser that saturated my PC with all sorts of extra stuff. Anyways, I doubt it's the OrchidBoard this time. Sorry I wonder why Susanne and other Firefox users aren't saying they have the same problems? Have you tried clearing all the cache settings, cookies, etc.? That's what Marty would suggest. Have you run a spyware program like Spybot to see if you have something unique to your PC? It's a free (and trusted) spyware detection program that I run weekly. I don't know. I feel your pain, because sometimes these things get us wonderin' if we are alone in the world Try some PC cleanup like I suggested and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply Ross. I am actually now attempting to download spybot and Symantec Antivirus. I've exposed my laptop too much by having an outdated antivirus. But at work, its not the same, at work everything is up to date but I have the same probs.

OK, I am now using my own Internet explorer browser, I get no probs. It has to be my version of firefox. The problems started after I was told to run an update on firefox by my computers. I will delete firefox and reinstall.

Really good plan. I hope you realize, certain antivirus programs sometimes see updates of other programs as bad, and pop up alerts that are so cryptic one is tempted to accept them. That's where the trouble begins. Has happened to me several times. I think you know where you need to head, so good luck. Hope the reinstall cures the problems. One step at a time, however.

I have the same problems as Maryline and Sandy :-

"Just the same that started about a month ago...having to hit the back button twice to get out of a thread. Can't figure that one out. Marty said it's an IE issue but I don't think it is. It only is happening on OB and nowhere else. " and Marilyn's comment
"I also, need to hit the back button twice. It is the only program that requires that. It gets a little frustrating when I am in another program, and out of habit, I hit the button twice."

This only happens here on OB for me...But I am no computer expert either...What's an IE ???
