Just tried it myself. I use IE and had no problems. Very snappy and went right back where I was before. Seems there is some other issue, perhaps related to IE?

I'm been googling the problem, and it seems to be a problem with IE and certain google ads. On IE, at the near the bottom of any OB page,(on the left above the google search bar) there is a white sqaure saying the page can't be displayed. On firefox, this area just appears as black. Apparently this 'bug' means that the first click on Back tries to refresh the ad, then the second will actually refresh the page.
So, it seems that the problem is out of our control . Yet another reason to use Firefox!

I, really, don't get it. I have used IE for years and rarely had a problem. I tried firefox and it took over my PC in incideous ways. I'm not sure I am completely free of this space hog. I really have very few (if any) issues with IE and OrchidBoard. I really worry about Firefox users, and if they understand all the things this program does to their computer? It's not a really safe browser like you think it is.

This looks to be an IE issue. Perhaps an update got loaded that 'fixed' something or this is specific to some versions of IE. I haven't been doing anything on the site lately. My suggestion, for the good of the planet, just press it twice until Microsoft comes out with another IE fix

Definately IE problem - never noticed it until I read this post.
I don't usually go back, only forward. Instead I make use of multiple tabs.....oh ya...multiple tabs, lots of them! I have 7 open right now!
~edit.....it seems I only need to hit 'Back' twice when here at the OB.

Would it be an IE issue if it's only happening here, on OB? I don't have to use the back button twice while I'm anywhere except here? I'm getting so used to it that when it's corrected, I'll be hitting the forward button to get me to where I thought I was going.

Yes, it is fixed now! I instinctively clicked back twice when I first logged in today and ended up a litte further back than I had intended! lol
Thanks for the fix Marty
The only issue I have now is the pages loading real slow tonight. I opened up another tab and browsed around some other sites with no delay, so it seems something's got the OB bogged down tonight

Hey. Mine works OK today. I just thought it was something I had to live with. It was a nusiance but I just learned to hit it twice by instinct. Thanks Marty.
