Wow! I've been around here as a member for quite a while and I must admit I never felt the urge to visit other boards. They all feel so "simplistic and amaturish" compared to this one. This board is such a "class act"! I'd almost bet it's the largest membership (even though active posters come and go over a period of time, just like elsewhere.) There is a ton of valuable resources in the articles on the Home page, the responses in the various posts and in the members. I doubt there are any orchids out there that are not being played with by at least one Orchid Board member. Heck, some people even have frogs pooping on their orchids

in tanks! I don't recall there being any Orchid Board members so wrapped up in themselves that they didn't have questions to ask the other members. I am reading through the lines here, that this might not be so on other boards. That's just sad. Thanks again Marty and the admin people for creating this place to hang out and for keeping it the place we all have grown to love.

I can see someone doing a google search and finding some additional info in another board like I have while searching for the ghost orchid or another vanda. It's amazing how often I get directed back here though. I have to say I have met some really nice people in other boards as well but I have encountered a lot of arrogant ummmm thorns? You just have to be careful with the rebel types like Wanda and Sandy

) ... but if you have gotten banned for whatever reason ..
You have to ask yourself - why go back?

and just to comment further .. I have seen activities of the likes that have been discussed here on other boards not pertaining to orchids ... it's just what's out there folks ..
