Woa! I'm late to the love fest!

Just kidding!!
Seriously though, OB was one of the first things that came up when I googled orchids a little over a year ago. I had 5 plants then. Now I have 50+

. Wonder how that happened?

At any rate, I knew nothing about orchids but nearly everyone was gracious and answered my seemingly endless questions. I have tried in turn to give back what knowledge I now possess to new people feeling a little lost. What good is all that knowledge if you don't share it with someone? It doesn't get better if you keep it to yourself. I've also learned that you understand a theory better if you try and explain it to someone else. I've poked around on the other site and didn't care much for what I saw so never went back. What for? I've got you guys! Life's too short to spend it being snarky.
All that said, I'd like to make a suggestion. Many of us have posted some very long detailed posts on repotting, fertilizing, lighting requirements etc. Could we maybe put a FAQ area in the beginner section to capture those really great posts for eternity and beyond? Then if there are specific details that people have questions about those can be addressed individually. Not that I'm not willing to recreate the wheel for folks I'm just thinking there may be shy folks out there who just don't want to ask in a public forum, but could find their answer in the FAQs. We know there are no dumb questions.....but maybe they went to the other board first!
It's late I need to go to bed. I'm starting to ramble.
