Cannot view pictures
I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I have tried posting this several times in other discussions, but nobody has ever responded....
I cannot view the pictures in people's posts some of the time. Well, I guess it is some certain type of picture attachment that I cannot view. Anytime there is not paperclip icon on the discussion thread link I cannot see the pictures. They just appear as a very tiny white dot. I have tried clicking on them, right clicking, going to galleries, nada. Nothing works.
Can anyone help me? I feel so left out when everyone is saying "how beautiful" and I just see a dot! HELP!
Thank you to anyone with any type of help.

Jenn, I'm sorry your original post got lost
I think it might be some setting on your computer, although I'm not sure. Hopefully, somebody with more knowledge about this stuff will jump in with a suggestion.
Marty is away this week so if we don't get your problem solved prior to that, we'll contact him when he returns.

Hi Jenn.
What browser are you using and does it happen on other sites too?

for me!
Tim, thanks for posting...I hadn't thought of that!
Many of us use Firefox for Orchidboard, seems to be a better fit.

I was having the same problem with firefox; finally got it resolved yesterday. I could see images on one site and not another, scratching my head and checking settings, etc.

Well, I am usually viewing from work and they have quite a secure network and popup blockers, the whole nine yards. Silly corporate America!
I have tried to view from my brothers computer as well and haven't seen them either, but that was on dialup and I got impatient so that could have been "user error". Thank you for the quick replies. I will see if I can figure out any setting issues and keep checking for more comments.

Jenn, can you post the actual link your speaking of? And I'll see I can view the pics.

LOL...we tend to forget that people are using dial up in some cases...it's why we prefer thumbnails in the threads rather than large pictures

The problem from work is they probably have it set to block images , you know the kind, but it gets all images . Just a guess .. Gin

I am one of those dial-up people and when large photos are in posts, it takes a long time for them to come up on my screen .. many times I have to read through the threads without waiting for the photos to load .. sometimes they slow my system down all together.
That's why I prefer thumbnails to the large posting of photos.
