Ever since Marty announced the November contest I can hardly keep up with all the new posts. This is a great way to build up the reservoir of knowledge that exists here.
I agree. I can't keep up. I've been doing nothing at work all day. Ok, thats a major exageration, but you get the point. But even though I'm not a part of the contest, I refuse to give up my seat as top poster .

I Love It! I am retired and love to talk about my 2 passions - photography and orchids (actually I have those backwards!) Now I can go to the board and find some thread that interests me. Way to go, Marty!!!!
This threads keeping me fiarly busy at work too. Well not really...just a little busy. I've been put on an audit I hate my job. Well besides that I do have some activity going on at home so the timing, for me at least, is great By the way. Thanks in advance to all the donors whoever you may be cheer to you ...ok back to the audit
see, some of you have the advantage of not having jobs pulling you away from the internets. I officially declare it unfair!
but actually, it is nice to see more traffic here, and I'm glad that so far the post quality is high, and that people are actually talking about orchids, and not just inflating their post number.
by the way, so this is at least semi-relevant, I think the new contest should also have one random winner of something small, out of all the people that posted during the month. just another little incentive for the job-havers.
I agree! There should be a random winner! Marty... are you viewing!
Being retired has nothing to do with it... you find time for your passion wherever you can! I still have to run my photo business -- it's just that I'd rather be talking plants (specifically Orchids). I doubt IRS will agree that Orchid Board is a tax deduction (time-wise)
