I'm just now reading all of this and "wow" .... you guys and gals are all amazing! Guess that is why I love OB, it's like having friends and orchids all wrapped in one.
Dorothy, I know all is okay with your family and we are all so thankful. Just to let you know that our hearts are with you and hope you are resting after the long scary night you've had.
All of you moderators do an outstanding job. Thanks so much! You are appreciated.

I have a stupid question but Im busy just trying to figure out orchid species and the chinese arithmetic that comes with it. So my question is, what's the difference between a moderator and a super moderator and an ambassador? and please don't tell me, they like different shading/lighting, humidity, temperatures, etc.

There's really no difference between any of the mods and their associated names

The "Ambassador" title came up as a light-hearted comment since I talk Orchidboard to everybody I meet

We're all just mods, trying to keep Orchidboard the wonderful place it is for all of our friends

I'm with KIKI here... I've been swamped with life lately so it's been a bit hard to be here as much as I used to. I still poke my head, but don't get to read all the posts, if something needs my attention please PM or email me and I'll respond much quicker. It's a really good to see that if I'm not here to take care of spammers that you guys are able to keep the boat afloat. Classifieds are to only have orchid related items, so if you see something out of place, esp from a new member, it's most likely crap that needs to be deleted.

There's a big upgrade pending, but first I have to catch up with my own stuff, as this one may get a big ugly.

I have to say, that OB has a life of its own and you guys mould this collection of software into a great community that comes together all the time. This is great to see!

Remember, anytime you see spam, feel free to give that user a spam infraction which will ban them instantly and disable them from posting more crap! Yes, you all have the power to ban any member on the forum... of course, we look into every infraction, so reversing it isn't a problem if a mistake is made. No one as of yet has abused this power, but it's important that everyone knows that you can stop spam on your own!

Thanks!
