BikerDoc, thanks for bringing these things to the attention of the board. If it wasnt for the watchful community our job would be harder.

Dorothy, thanks for keeping your eyes peeled, and being on the watch! Especially after such a trying night for you are your family. Hope everyone is better than ok and come out wiser for the experience. You always learn something from events even when its not your fault.

Howard
Howard, et al, just so everyone understands, we all have an important part in stopping this type of flooding of the board with spam. See the little red square in upper right of most posts? (It won't be there for yours or for mods.) That is a link to a page to issue an infraction. Click it, select the lower radio button to give permanent infraction, add a title (I just type in spam) then a message (again I just type in spam) the click the issue infraction. After you (or anyone here) catches all of the entries, the mods will pick this up and do their thing. We don't have to leave all the work to the few moderators. It's also our job to jump in and help out where we can.

Yeah, I noticed those weird threads this morning, but i didn't know how to report them. I figured they were spam. Something like that happened my my friend's forum. At least these were spam about household sale items and not "special" websites.

Anytime somebody here sees something they don't think is appropriate, just contact me, Dorothy, Tindomul, justatypn, oscarman or Marty and we'll take care of it.

We appreciate all the help in keeping OB on track

Glad everything turned out for the best D.

The first thing I look for before reading threads is the spammers. It's always lurking around us. We have a great group here to keep watchful eyes when the mods are few between.
