Default Missing in Action

Sorry guys, I've been MIA for a bit. Thought I'd just say what's going on.

We have #2 on the way (Due mid Oct), so naturally I have to pick up some slack. Since #1 is almost 2 years old, it makes it for an interesting time. Throw into the mix busy lifestyle, full time work, renovations in the house and in the back yard, side business and few websites just for kicks and that makes me for one very sleep deprived and absent OB admin

I'm hoping that things will let up for me a bit soon, though I may be hoping for a miracle here.

All I can say that I'm extremely grateful for the awesome mods that we have here. They all pitch in and make this place run smoothly while I"m not around. It's very comforting to be honest.

Sue (CB977) has been pulling a double duty as an Admin on OB for a while now.

I pop in here to see what's going on daily, though I don't get to read a lot of posts, so if there is anything requiring my attention, please PM me with a link. My objective lately has been to check and verify that "YUP, OB is still up"

Just thought I'd give you guys an update in case you're wondering what was going on with me.

If you need any assistance on the board just PM one of the mods or Sue (hopefully she doesn't mind too much) or PM me and I'll try to get'er done whenever possible.

So, Marty, I was wondering what you do in your spare time? A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you and your wife. In my opinion, the anticipation of a new baby surpasses anything else...even orchids. I wish you all the best!

Marty, congratulations! You are right about OB being in good hands. This site is great! Enjoy your time with your young ones because they are gone before you know it. I remember when my two girls were 2 and 3 years old and my husband and I used to look forward to Monday because going back to work was easier than being with those 2 all weekend! Now the oldest is leaving for college and the youngest is a senior in HS. It was over in a flash! So take your vitamins, rest when you can, and get ready for the ride of your life!

I agree, OB is a very cohesive and welcoming place. I'm a member on probably 20 different forums and have never seen a community that sticks together like this one.

Yes indeed Dorothy is a major support pillar here, many thanks

Haha... I've been there too already. Though the funny thing is as soon as you get to work you miss'em again. Crazy how that works.
