Can I get some feedback on a Youtube video for Beginners. (Phalaenopsis care)
Hi! Long time no see! I was kind of active here yeaaars ago (I believe that when I joined, my orchids really really improved), but as time went by I stopped visiting. Now, I started a new orchid channel on YouTube to try to pass on some of the things I learned over the years. English is not my first language so the recording process was kind of uncomfortable but I did my best to make it really entertaining (at least if you have my kind of humor), easy to consume and packed full of information. I would just love to hear some feedback from people that are not related to me. Thank you!

(btw, is here the right place to post it?)

I'm only a couple if minutes in but the intro is great, I've subscribed!
I will have to watch it all later, I've got a long car trip ahead of me and departure time is getting close.

I'm about half way through and I really like it! I've also subscribed.
I have to say, this is a really high quality production! I have to imagine it took a looooong time to make. Is that true?

Really enjoyed it!
Entertaining and educational - hit just the right notes for a Phal newbie.
Impressed with the standard - well done.
Looking forward to future episodes!

Oh, I'm so glad to hear you like it. It took me reaaallly long specially because it's my first one and I really wanted to make sure it had a strong visual style. I did use stock video cause I'm only starting to make my own orchid blooming time-lapses and I already had a subscription to a stock video and audio file webpage cause I'm a video editor.

Ohh, thank you so much! I love making "edutainment" content, so I thought my little orchid collection & knowledge would make a nice subject.

Marc,
I just went through the video, and found it extremely entertaining. WELL DONE!!!
I might quibble with a point or two, but that is a great video for beginners to get on the right track.

Oh thank you so much Ray, it means a lot coming from you! Might I ask about those quibbles? To see if I need to rectify something in future videos. Again, thank you so much for your time!

That's really nice to hear! After writing, performing, editing and reviewing multiple times, all those little jokes start feeling really dumb and uninteresting, I'm really glad they got the job done!

This video was a breath of fresh air, blowing a stale stagnant air away. Well done.
I bet the avatar scene got lame but it came across spot on. I liked all the little special effect from the sun and compass to the dracula effect, the random cockerel crowing to indicate morning watering and of course the green hair!
One of the better orchid video's I'd gladly recommend any newcomer watch. Not that anyone listens to my recommendations but hope it still means somethig
