Depending upon what they're potted in you may not need to repot. Ime during the growth phase these aren't too picky about their media, as long as it has some drainage and stays moist. After flowering the leaves will start to turn yellow, and at that point the hard part begins. I start drying them out a bit, basically by removing them from the trays of water they're standing in and letting them get a bit drier (but never dry!) by standard watering. When the foliage has died, the really hard part begins. Keeping the bulbs through dormancy seems to be a delicate balance between having the tubers rot from too much moisture and dessicating from not enough. In the past I did the standard refrigerator dormancy with mixed success. Last year I switched from perlite mixed with a bit of Sphagnum to leca, and instead of the fridge I wintered them in my basement, where temps stay in the mid-upper 50s all winter long. Last year was the first time I got 100% of my tubers through dormancy.
