Welcome.
Great orchid, one of my favorites.
These guys like to stay moist. Slight drying out is good, but never bone dry.
Sphagnum works well, just gotta be careful. Dont overpot, and dont pack the moss in too tight. This leads to moss that stays too wet, wont allow for air circulation, and eventual rotting. Terrestrial mix (peat, bark, perlite, charcoal -type) also works well.
Plants a couple years old are ready to bloom. They dont require much light, never direct sun. The leaves will fade out fast if its too bright.
Inflorescence shoots straight out the center of the plant, with small greenish-brown blooms up top. Kinda remind me of a Praying Mantis type insect.
Google images has a few pics also.
