Recently, I have been trying my luck with low light plants but find that most of them are pleurothallids. Most of these pleurothallids I have trouble keeping because I have trouble keeping up with the watering and I tend to also travel some. If anyone knew of any orchids that needed to be watered maybe only twice a week and like low light, please let me know. Thanks!
Ludisia discolor. A jewel orchid, beautiful even when not in bloom. It is terrestrial, you can grow it in African violet potting soil. It prefers being kept lightly moist, but mature plants will tolerate dry periods.

That's interesting! I keep Anoectochilus which need to be kept very moist and I assumed all jewel orchids were like that so I had never tried a Ludisia. Thanks for the tip!
Pretty much any non-mounted plant which prefers low light would seem to fit your needs. I'd suggest doing a search on Andy's using "low light" as your main parameter.
