Yes, they do... they usually do well although I think they'd like something richer than our sugar sand. I hope for it to eventually be an in ground landscape plant for me.

The plant is in an 8" pot, would fit better in a 6", and from base to tips of spikes is about 10"-12".

I liked the colors too! Most I see are purple; some yellow/purple but usually more purple than this one (and often seem to have poorer flower carriage); some yellow (often the flowers don't seem to open well); and alba- these are often much bigger.
