Habenaria Pegasus
This unbloomed seedling came from Peter T. Lin in September 2016 when he spoke to our club. It had leaves at the time. It is Hab. carnea x medusae. His description was "Lovely pink fringe hybrid."
My two Hab. rhodocheila (Carter & Holmes, First Ray's) and my Hab. roebelinii (seedling from Peter T. Lin.) are not showing anything yet.
BTW Hab. roebelinii is named after Swiss botanist Roebelin, collector for Sanders. I see many misspellings on the Internet. IOSPE has it as Hab. roeblenii Rolfe 1913 so it doesn't show up when you search on the right spelling. I don't have access to Rolfe, but I don't think Rolfe would have misspelled a Swiss name.
There is also a wonderful pygmy date palm, Phoenix roebelinii, which is also misspelled all the time.
