Updating this to say that Kusamono Gardens
is having their pre-order sale, including Habenaria radiata. Just in case anyone is interested .

Wow, late reply. Sorry, it's been busy here.

Mine grew on my windowsill, and I kept the container in a water-filled saucer most of the time, trying to duplicate a "bog plant" environment. I was afraid that it would dry out if I left it outside for long, as I might forget to check the moisture often enough. I do think that the natural wind would give a stronger stem, though.

I had a bag of cactus/succulent mix, so I used some of that with a little sphag mixed in. Sorry to be so vague, I didn't measure--probably a mistake, as I think of it now, since I won't be able to duplicate it.
