Eria javanica
Eria javanica is widespread in the south Asia, including Taiwan. It is a lowland species in central Taiwan and dislikes cold winter.
I ever killed a plant due to insufficient protection in the winter.

Thank you, very nice! I've never stood in front of an Eria. Would you please post photos of the whole plant and the pseudobulbs?

I will add a photo. Some Erias are notorious for their odor.

How many growths does it have? I once got a half dead rescue plant, that has now three growths, but hasn't flowers yet. I grow it mounted in a warm terrarium, on the shady side. Any suggestions?

It's my plant.
As i mentioned before, it likes warm weather. Besides, the plants was found to grow in the ground. Therefore, we prefer growing it in the fine medium than mounting it.

Thanks. May have to pot it then. The roots do look a bit all over the place and rather thick. How about light? shade, bright, full sun?

It likes semi-shade, and full sun would cause sun brun.
Therefore, 50~70% shade is needed.
