Default Eulophia guineensis

The spike is 10cm long now.

I'd like to make a cross with another Eulophia species, if anyone is interested in pollen-swap, please contact me!

Put a new pic when it blooms. I don't know what it looks like.

Indeed! The spike is lengthening at an impressive speed. This morning it was nearly 20 cm, and the first signs of forming spurs can be spotted.
Though many spring flowering plants have spikes like this, I took the pot and placed it inside to protect the first spike from wind. And the outside tº - around 17ºC - don't help either.

One which the spike moves so fast, now that's a different thing for an orchid.

Yes, that would be fine! I'd prefer to use pollen from an other plant before selfing this one; or even try to make a cross with somewhat else. But even that there are a lot of Eulophias in the world, not many growers grow them. It will be only a few days for the first flower now!
I'll keep you updated!
