Distribution: China to Indo-China

Habenaria from Latin habena=bridle, whip, strap, from the thread-like fringes of the lip
myriotricha from ancient Greek μῡρίος (myrios) thousands and θρίξ (thríks) hair, hence with thousand of hairs referring to the finely fringed lip
