Will my Gongora still flower? Male
Default Will my Gongora still flower?

I bought a G. pleiochroma a few months ago and it began to grow a flower spike; however I went away for a week and and it wasn't cared for very well (to my annoyance). When I returned, its pot was very dry and the flower-spike was brown. Would it still flower, or will I have to wait another year?

Not familiar with the particular species, but my galeata blooms multiple times over the course of a year.

About 20 or so. It's currently putting out about 10 spikes, so I'm hopeful to have a real show next month.

Gongora pleiochroma originates from tropical lowlands. So it doesn't have a decided rest period. It can grow and flower year round.
