I had this special little orchid in 2018, paid a pretty penny for it. What caught my attention is this little jewel's rosette shape. In-fact, this species is the only epiphytic orchid I am aware of with this rosette growth from, more reminiscent of a small bromeliad than an orchid.
This orchid grew well for me in one of those glass tear drop shaped bulbs with some live sphagnum in the bottom in a window in Pennsylvania but when I relocated to Florida it sat in an unheated room at my parent's house for a while and died. It is number 1 on my acquisition list after I add a few more leafless species to my collection.
