Eagerly awaiting your pictures of final blooms as well. I have one of these, but mine has never bloomed. I have grown it from a seedling.

WOW!!!! I love working here in the greenhouse and seeing the orchids throw blooms!

Is this a Phaius tankcarvilleae? - opinions please.

No. The Chinese ground orchid you're referring to is called Bletilla striata.

Phaius tankervilleae is commonly called the "Nun Orchid", (don't ask me why, I have no idea why).
