I absolutely love it!! So, so pretty!
I got one of these in October (along w/flexuosa and purpurescens) and now I'm even more excited to see the flowers next season.
Thanks for sharing.

Is Cynorkis guttata a synonym for Cynorkis angustipetala or are they different species altogether with similar looking flowers?

Here the answer of J. Hermans about this :
"This is an old friend with an interesting story:
This species has been in cultivation under the wrong name of Cynorkis uncinata. Cynorkis uncinata H.Perrier is a synonym of C. calanthoides Kraenzl.; it is an epiphyte with huge leaves and mauve flowers with a white spot on the disk.
Some years ago I described the species on your website in The Orchid Review as C. guttata. Recently I found the true type of C. angustipetala which had been misfiled and your website plant is in fact Cynorkis angustipetala as described by Ridley in 1885. (the plants that used to be called C. angustipetala are in fact C. speciosa). "

So…it sounds like Cynorkis guttata is actually called Cynorkis angustipetala, am I correct? Cynorkis guttata is no longer a valid name?
