a couple of extras... Female
Default a couple of extras...

I didn't want to post these on their own...call me lazy...so I'm lumping them together in this area. Hope it's OK.

Habenaria medusae - I should've gotten a later pic when more of the buds were open but I didn't. I purchased 2 of these at the MAOC in Dayton in fall '13...this was the more mature one. You can see the younger one trying to photo bomb his bigger brother. The smaller one seemed kind of "weak" to me...hopefully it'll be better next year. ??

Lastly, while not in the same alliance or anything...
Phal Corona
Love this plant...very fragrant and blooms time and again on the same spikes.

Very pretty - your "weaker" medusae will get better each year. The little bulbs get bigger each year and the stronger they get, the better the flowering.

I used to have a Corona, I wonder why I don't have it anymore, yours is gorgeous.

Good to know Brooke...thanks for that info on the medusae. As for the Corona...you should get another. Smells really nice.

Thanks for the comments, guys...glad you like them.
