Default what is wrong with my acanthephippium's leaf?

I just got this recently. The brown mark has been spreading down along the new leaf.

I don't know sorry. Giving you a bump.

My general thought is that if it's spreading it would be best to remove the leaf before it spreads to the others. However I don't know this plant so that's just a general thought.

The genus Acanthephippium is mostly deciduous, so maybe it's time for this species to start drying up and dropping its leaves?

Acanthephippium mantinianum

The plant looks to be sun scalded to me...

Definitely not. It is halfway in the growing season.

Sorry. I haven't responded for so long. The leaf kept dying back so I cut it back on the healthy tissue. The plant is doing well right now but I underpotted it. Because the root system was too small for its pot from the summer.
