This one has been growing on a mossy piece of wood in my paludarium for almost a year now, and this is the first bloom. If it continues to grow like it has been, it won't be the last:

Subrosa...this is a great little plant! Mine perhaps outgrew its mount and appeared to be declining so I repotted to a small clay pot with bark. Maybe with some tlc it can look as nice as yours. Oh...what's a paludarium?
Subrosa i recently got one and would like your input. I am growing it on a windowsill. Which medium should i use and what type pot? One site said they filled a pot with tree fern and sat this plant on top.
Mine stays moist all the time. If I were growing mine potted and not in my constantly humid paludarium it would be in a sphagnum/bark mix. I think I would have trouble keeping it moist on tree fern due to the low humidity in my house. Your situation may be different. From what I've heard, as well as my own experience this is an easy orchid.

Subrosa i will have it with my others in my kitchen. I mist every day and there is usually water in the tray. Maybe i should use just spaghnum. Any input on that would be appreciated.
