Vanilla plantation

My parents just got back from a cruise that stopped at reunion island. They took a tour to a vanilla plantation. Thought you would all enjoy a few pictures. Supposed to be three pictures, but the third won't load something about a missing token...

The third picture would show a whole row of vanilla vines growing up palm trees.

Cool, I saw some of these growing at The Eden Project in Cornwall last week. They have them growing on posts like they are grown commercially, several big plants covered in pods. So great to see.

Thats soo amazing. Someday I would love for my backyard to be filled with vanilla vines. For now mine's only about 4 feet long haha.
