Eria ornata Male
Default Eria ornata

Eria ornata has bright colored blooms.
I also have a plant but it has not bloomed for years. These two photos were taken at a friend's garden.

The floral bracts on this species are huge and showy, and are the ones that are colored orange.

The flower itself is small, brown, white, with a little bit of red, and hairy.

Beautiful plants your friend has!

Thanks for the comment.
