I know that I've posted prior year's bloomings of this plant, but I believe that I've maxed out its growing potential under my indoor conditions. I've seen images of much better ones from greenhouse growers. This past winter was very harsh on my other Cynorkis species and this is my only survivor. The plant is now 32 inches tall from pot to top of spike.

Wow, very nice, yo have really many buds on your spike, and your color is much lighter than mine, I assume growing indoors under lights make color light, where growing outdoors like mine makes it darker. Beautiful plant, one of my very favorite terrestrials!

Wow - very full inflorescence! Probably my favorite Cynorkis.

My C. gibbosa flowered last fall (September), but C. uncinata has just finished.

May I ask what your medium is, and how you handle watering when dormant?

Steve

I grow it in a 50/50 mixture of supersphag and perlite. When dormant it's kept totally dry at room temperature.
