Stenoglottis macloughlini - smalles terrestrial I own!
Stenoglottis macloughlini - Found in Zimbabwe and South Africa in rocky areas at elevations of sea level to 1500 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial. In comparison with Cynorkis, this one is TRUE MINIATURE, and so so cute. The stems carry many tiny blooms, again reminding me these of Orchis or other European terrestrials, but the whole plants is in inches, as you can see when held in my hand. So cute and can produce many stems at the same time. The blooms are just starting to open! Loves to stay moist, and goes completely dormant for winter:-)

Wow, that's really fantastic, Tommy, and nicely photographed too. I grow Stenoglottis longifolia but have never bloomed it, though it's an easy enough plant to maintain. I may move one out into higher light to see if that gets the blooms going.
If you ever divide your macloughlinii I'd love to trade you something for a piece, except of course I might have a hard time coming up with anything you don't already have.

Nat, if I ever divide (this is the first year this blooms for me, so I have to figure out how to divide) I would share for sure, your Stenoglottis is cold growing though:-) I do grow it moist at all times after it sprouts above the surface, and also provide good light, it has actually direct late afternoon sun, it seems to enjoy these conditions!
