this is now dormant - I thought I would post a picture of the dormant tuber/bulb/whatever. Looks like a big toe !
Actually - having taken another look - I don't know what it looks like ! bit creepy...

all I do is to water roughly every 2 weeks. I think the plant naturally breaks dormancy as temps/light levels change with the seasons. I am watching for new growth too as that would be an indication to increase watering and start fertilising.

just noticed new growth. I am going to repot into a fresh moss/seedling bark mix. I wish I had a deeper and smaller pot as the tuber had curved from the existing pot.
Nothing on my Medusa yet, but the exposed end seems to be swelling.

appears to be doing well. This is one I repotted into a Wisconsin Sphagnum mix - a much cheaper mix than the premium mix from New Zealand. So far, so good. Its in a cymbidium pot - I am hoping that I get extra long, fat and numerous tubers at the end of the season.

spike starting. Apparently doesn't get as tall as Medusa, but will see....Leafspan is about 8in.
