Default Calanthe vestita fma. rubra
Up to now I could not figure out a difference between Calanthe rubens and Calanthe vestita. But I enjoy the rich dark colour of its long lasting flowers. The friend who was so kind to give me this division told me that he picked this plant out of a large number of white types, only two plants had this dark red flowers.
