Here are some photos of Cryptostylis erecta and Cryptostylis subulata both species growing here on our property. Some habitat photos also. They are growing side by side in sandy low lying soils. They produce a single leaf and tall flower stems with flowers opening somewhat sequentially. Very unusual flowers.

ah! Gorgeous little orchids
I've been some months in Perth and the cilmate was the same of my mediterranean house. But I saw you are much more in northern Australia. Theweather is more similar to tropical, right?
Thanks. Yeah they are interesting flowers and seem to flower over a long time they have been flowering since spring and its late summer now and they are still going.
We live in a subtropical climate. We don't get frost but winter nights still get quite cold just not to freezing point. So far I've managed to identify 7 species of orchid here on our property but I'm sure there are a few more especially terrestrials.
