I'm growing setigera in a short 2" clay pot (not the standard height kind)...a couple of small pieces of cork in the bottom and topped w/sphag. Med-bright light. I water it just about every day in the Summer and a couple of times a week in the Winter. It's definitely dry (Summer and Winter) between waterings.

My humidity swings from the single digits up to very humid...just depends on the time of the year. Most orchids do fine under my conditions and I do my best to avoid those that do require constant high humidity.
And, don't worry about the other one dying...before it gets that bad, I'll likely give it to one of my orchids friends who might do a better job of making it happy.
