It's nice to see someone else with this plant! I keep mine next to my Isochilus and other miniature Catt's, hoping that some ants might cross-polinate them.

I've never seen another orchid with this flower color, it's a purplish orange/brown.

I just realized that your plant is smaller than mine. My mature canes are almost 18 inches long, with the growing ones catching up quickly.

This plant is slowly becoming a specimen and I have to cut the dead flowers or else it will harbor fungi and dry out the leaves....Can you post picture of your plant and its flower? I think you have a different variation.

the leaf is just as long and as big as an ordinary semi-terette Vanda leaf and imagine this flower growing at the tip of it.

Default Rebloom 12-20-2013

This orchid plant gave out new flowers from where the old dried blooms came from ( notice the dried flowers beside it )

I also noticed a slight bending on the tip of some of the leaves; a sign that it is going to bring forth flowers too....

Default REBLOOM 2014

The tip of the leaves were eaten by some bugs yet the flowers still emerged.
This seems to be getting used to my windowsill that I almost forget it and it still thrives.
