It receives full sun and Warm temps, no rest. Its natural range is from Florida to South Carolina and Puerto Rico.
TommyMiami just recently purchased one from Lees botanical, I am not sure of the quality yet.

After I posted that I looked into getting them from Lees. I've seen good reviews from Lee's and I emailed him. He responded very quickly and I'm planning on getting some from him. How exactly do you grow yours? Floating in water?
I'm super excited about this!!

I was looking for this plant since I saw Kevin's thread. Could not find it anywhere, but one of the sellers I contacted told me to post the add on orchid mall. I did and yesterday someone contacted me and wrote me about Lee's page, and that he has this orchid and also this person (do not know him) bought from Lee many times. His plants are really great prices, and on the top, postage to me was only $1.90, which I have never seen. I am not sure what I will receive, I did order 5 of repens since they are only $3. I'll post here once I receive the package:-) I cant wait, this is off the hook, I was looking for orchids growing truly in the water!

I've been communicating with him all day via email regarding this plant. Seems like a quality seller, but we won't know until we see what we get!
I'm planning on growing this right on top of an aquarium!
Here's what he told me

The plant only goes dormant after it flowers, and it flowers all year! We ship plants 3-6" tall, they mature at about 10" than flower, can tolerate a freeze, but foliage dies and comes back from roots. Will grow on floating mats of plants, and is great to grow with carnivorous plants. Our minimum order is $10.00 plus 15% shipping, good growing. Bruce Lee

Awesome Bob, many thanks, this sounds good to me, I mean the prices are amazing, and I have never seen such a cheap shipping, I actually did order right now also 2 Ludisia discolor, with his cheap shipping it really does not matter, so will see, once I get the plants I will post pics, since I am in Florida it should be probably soon:-)

Ok, as promised, report. I must say I am very happy and shocked, how fast I got the package, I just ordered days ago, I know seller is in Florida, but still, it is only Monday! Plants arrived nicely packed in plastic bag, moist, and in box, I did pay for 5 and got some 8, 5 big and 3 small, check the pics, and as I can say, they look pretty good, I think:-) I must say for the price and extremely cheap shipping, lees botanical garden delivered beyond my expectation! Can't wait for my second package and order that I did day later!

They look great! Mine should be here Friday or Saturday. I'm just really hoping it doesn't get to chilly outside during that time!
