Habenaria carnea

This is my third blooming of this plant in a 4 inch pot. It has 7 growths and 6 flower spikes. I think that I'll repot it for next year after the flowers fade.

Thank you. I keep it bone dry after the flowers fade and at room temperature until Match when I gradualy start watering it again. I keep it moist during it's growing season with my cattleyas and fertilize "weakly weekly" with a U of M fertilizer at 125-150 ppm in RO water. The plant is potted in 50% worm castings mixed with 50% perlite.

We don't see many Habenaria down here in Australia. I've seen lots of photos of the flowers of Hab carnea but it's odd that people don't make a bigger deal about how attractive the leaves are. What a pretty plant.
