Default Dendrochilum magnum spiking
These are the first Dendrochilums I have. I'm not completely sure, but I'd say that that what's growing between the new leaves is a spike. Do you agree?

Wow!

Do they spike like that?! Good to know. And when the growth is still so young! I guess this is the first time I've seen a dendrochilum spike developing. I expected them to come from the base of the bulb...or...I don't know exactly, but at least I now know what to look for!

(I got a small dendrochilum glumaceum)

I don't know if all the Dendrochilums spike in the same way.
