Thunia alba
After a long dry winter rest from December to April, when only one long dry stem graces the pot, the new lead develops rapidly. When it is nearly done after 10 weeks or so, the plant flowers from a pendant spike. Each flower lasts about one week. After flowering the stem and bulb completes to ripen for 6 more months.
Until 10 days ago the plant looked flawless, then unusual hot weather burnt the top leaves. With good luck the plant recovered and the buds and flowers were not damaged.
Although easy to grow and propagate, here there is not an overload of Thunias, so i thought I'd share.
