Phaius spikes.
Default Phaius spikes.

I just bought a no-id phaius from my garden center! It was 50% off since it was finished flowering. I assume it's a tancarvillaea simply because my local garden center tends not to have the wildest or rarest orchids. It has 3 large bulbs but then 7!!!!! new ones coming up! I had to have it because it's going to be so large and amazing!

But i had a question, they cut off the spent part of the flower spike but left the rest. I know one can use these lower nodes for propagation, but is it at all possible that it will rebloom from them? or should I just go ahead and try to make babies!?!?!?

From what I remember of my two Phais, I don't believe the bloom spike will rebloom, so if you can squeeze a baby or two out I think I would try it.
I have not heard of kiekis forming on Phais, but again, it's been a few years since I have played with one.
Will be watching the posts for more info -

they don't re-bloom. Cut the stem in piecies with 2 nodes each one and put the on moist sphagnum moss.
