I remember mine was still weak two years later after taking it home. My growing was getting better since altering medium to be sphagnum moss and noticing not dry out before next watering. I believe the point is environment this species inhabit in wild. Somewhere rocky and mossy in moist forest seems its favorite. However, what is worked for mine doesn’t necessarily work for yours. Hopefully what I described here is helpful for you.
