Jewel orchid availability in the US
I once had quite a collection of goodyeras, Ludisias, Anoectochilus, and Dossinias. After an unfortunate "I forgot to water your orchids while you were away" accident, I have slowly been trying to rebuild my collection. I am having a hard time finding even some of the, what I should think to be, easier to obtain species. I have been able to obtain Goodyera schlectendaliana, hispida, and velutina, Anoectochilus reinwardtii, Dossinia marmorata , a few Ludisia varieties and hybrids, and Macodes petola Does anyone know of good sources of jewels in the US? That has them in stock? I have found a few sites, but everything is always sold out. Is it that people just are not interested in them so nobody is producing them, or are they just very popular. I am particularly interested in Macodes sanderiana, Goodyera pusilla, Anoectochilus albolineatus, A formosanus, A chapensis, geniculatus, brevilabris, and some more unusual species such as Anoectochilus burnmannicus, setaceous and a few others.
Thanks
