My vanilla finally made a new growth, well more like a new vine really!
It's been going on for about three weeks and is 8cm long, a bit under 4''.
I guess it just took her a while to stabilize in her new environment and medium. One point for hydroton!
here goes:
it grows that fast?
nice!
for temperature we are currently sitting over 30 so it should be fine there.
for water I will make sure to check the S/H water level twice a day!
thank you!
Like a friend growing another one in Paris I use a normal plastic closed pot with water reserve, yes, it's that thirsty. The only trick is to keep water low when it stops growing by lack of heat/light.
The perfect temp is 25°C, I can't tell for 30°C and more…
