All that I can find is that Sanjumeara is intergeneric hybrid of the genera Aerides × Neofinetia × Rhynchostylis × Vanda Vanda - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
so I don't know about the name "radicans" which would seem to imply a species ?
Hopefully someone else can shed some more light onto this

I am not familiar with this plant and I dont own or grow one but:
The genus Sanjumeara is a cross of : Aerides × Neofinetia × Rhynchostylis × Vanda
*a total of four genus crossbreeds
Radicans means : with stems that send out roots
I can imagine this plant is grown with vandacious culture and it better be in a basket because the plant will sprout forth roots from its stem
too bad I cant get a picture of the bloom even on IOSPE or FLICKER

Well, your definition of radicans explains my E. radicans that grows roots all over the leaf stems!

Island Girl - although the genus Sanjumeara exists, the genus has only has 3 crosses, none of which are the one you say you want to buy. Just out of curiousity, where did you see or hear about this elusive plant?

Glen is right...I have not found a picture of its bloom anywhere and there are no infos about it besides what the RHS have listed in its register.
Good luck if you can find a plant....and show us pictures of what it looks like

I found it on orchids.com, but when I was checking out epiphyte78's orchid nurseries search engine, went thru each site 1 by 1, & saw the same plant w/ a diff. genus/species listed but I don't remember where or what it was, but it did have the "radicans" part of the name. Sorry my biology lessons seemed to have escaped me @ the moment
do y'all think that it would grow well in Phal conditions? During the summer I have them (my orchids) on a screened in porch, that is facing southwest, & has a fabulous breeze (on an island-the outer banks of NC, south of Hatteras) with good amount of humidity- around 60- 70% give or take, so pleasantly breezy, humid, not sure exactly how bright yet, but had a Phal close to the edge of the porch, beside the screen, & it looked like it was starting to burn, & it I think likes slightly brighter light than normal Phals, b/c of its leaf color- (it's currently n bloom) hope that can give u an idea of my conditions... If y'all think it will fit in I might take a chance... The mature sized plant is $20

it's Gomesa radicans, but sometimes it's still listed as Ornithophora radicans or Sigmatostalix radicans.
it's probably best to ask the vendor how to grow it.
Andy's Orchids and Santa Barbara Orchid Estate both carry it.
