I love the velvety texture of this plant and you can always be assured of them blooming on time. I am growing one with semi-hydroponic culture in expanded clay pellets as an experiment and it is doing beautifully. Thanks for sharing your photo.

You will have to wait until next year. The cuttings that I took aren't mature enough to bloom this year.

Bud, not a good image but here is a picture of my older plant that was taken last year.

One of the members of my orchid society has these growing on the ground under one of the benches and they are a massive ground cover.

They are beautiful, Jerry. You can have this growing on the ground in your grow zone....its a great landscape ground cover....too bad I live in a frost bitten ground 4 months a year....

Bud, you can't grow them outside here. The benches to which I referred are the areas inside a greenhouse and he grows them on the ground under his other orchids.

cut one branch you like from the mother plant and soak it in a vase of water to induce roots for a week then repot it.
I use small media orchid mix added with a handful of potting soil

Very nice, and I love that it is not huge leave terrestrial orchid as most are, I have no more space for these (2 nun orchids are taking quite some chunk of the space). This one seems small leaves one and I love it!
