Ascocenda Princess Mikasa 'Blue'
Flowered in August, December and now. 2 spikes each time.. Very rewarding easy grower.

Wonderful plant. I don't know why I don't have one. They are great for this hot and humid Florida weather.

To all who read this thread..
DO get one!! If you get the chance.. as it flowers often in the year.
They are not scented.
I don't give mine optimum growing conditions & as mentioned it flowers often and the flowers last between a month or 2 ( I need to check my notes)

Its Princess Mikasa, right? Anyone looking for Princess Micassi won't have much success.
If I had the conditions to grow Vanda types this would be one of the first I would look for. Yours is obviously very happy under your care.

Thanks!
Regarding the name, I thought that too before posting but I checked the invoice I got with the plant and it definitely says Princess Micassi 'Blue'... I have now checked on the growers site & it says that here too. It is still available schwerter

No registration for Princess Micassi, so I'd still bet on Princess Mikasa, and a confused vendor.
