Thumbs up Arundina graminifolia

Hello,
I just like to share this beautiful species which grows all around in the warm tropical parts of Colombia and Central America up to 8 feet or more!
I identified it as Arundina graminifolia although I'm not a specialist and someone may know it with another name.
Your replies on that are welcome.
I'll share with you some other amazing species growing in Colombia.
And wish you all a good day. Cheers!
Ralf

very beautiful! Very nice colour. Is this a wild growing plant or cultivated?

Yes that is Arundina Graminifolia also known as Bamboo Orchid (common name). I have one in my collections and this is a year round bloomer.

Hey Dear!
Yes, it's a wild growing flower, quite abundant on the Pacific Coast where you may see it in any front garden. I've even seen it in Central America, in Costa Rica but always in a warm climate. Cheers! Ralf
